Wildlife Gardening

Our Wildlife Gardening course broadly covers all aspects of what you can do to encourage/support wildlife in your garden, including the different types of habitats you can provide, building wildlife homes, looking after your soil and managing for the long term. The course will be run at St Johns Mill by MWT Education Officer, Dawn Colley, MWT Conservation Officer, Andree Dubbeldam, and some of the sessions will be delivered by Jane Prescott, who designed the garden at St John's and has a wealth of experience in horticulture, design and engaging people with nature.

Wildlife observer

Our third course, Wildlife Observer, will be led by MWT Education Officer Dawn Colley. This course will inform you about the wonderful biodiversity and varied habitats of the IOM, help you to improve your identification skills, and encourage and enable you to join in with citizen science and MWT volunteer surveys!
