In one of the meadows, His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor formally admitted Alison to the Fenee Ghlassey - Green Champions group of distinguished individuals who have made a significant lifetime contribution to MWT. Fittingly, Close Sartfield was where Alison undertook her first volunteer task on 13th October 2005. Alison is our longest serving Mucker and knows our reserves and their management second only to our Reserves Officer, of whom she is the right-hand woman. Alison often leads independent work parties and rarely misses a volunteering session. Since Alison joined the MWT family 20 years ago, we have massively expanded our reserves network with 19 individual new land acquisitions and reserve expansions. Such acquisitions would not be possible without the guaranteed and long-term support of the Muckers, of whom Alison is first and foremost in her dedication to our cause.
Thank you Alison!
