Manx Native Tree Nursery

We are growing trees and need your help! 

Join our new volunteer team at our Manx Native Tree Nursery at Milntown House and Gardens, Ramsey. Learn new skills, meet new people and enjoy time in the outdoors.

We’re seeking volunteers to help grow beautiful, lasting woodlands and temperate rainforest across the Isle of Man. Whether you've got a green thumb or are eager to learn, we welcome all levels of experience. 

Get involved with: 

• Seed collection: collect seeds from native trees at our woodland sites
• Seed sowing: plant seeds in trays or pots with appropriate soil mixtures
• Potting/transplanting: move seedlings to larger pots as they grow
• Irrigation: learn the best practices for watering
• Nursery maintenance: clean an organise pots, tools, and the nursery space.
