About the event

Join the Manx Herbalist on a guided walk of the Crossags Fields and discover the power of nature! Learn how the plants we walk by everyday can boost your health and wellbeing. After learning more about the plants along the walk, you will have an opportunity to pick your own and create a unique tonic to take home.

Jane Prescott is a Chartered Landscape Architect, Herbologist, founder of The Manx Herbalist (https://themanxherbalist.com/) and an Ambassador for the Herb Society (https://herbsociety.org.uk/). With a background in landscape and garden design, her work brings together plants, place, wildlife and nature connection. Jane’s teaching explores the therapeutic power of medicinal herbs through their cultivation, traditional uses and folklore, helping people deepen their relationship with nature and their own wellbeing.

The meeting point for this event is at the Milntown Carpark where we will then walk over to the Crossags Fields. The footpath is bumpy with some roots and grass in places. There will be an opportunity to sit down during the event, with herbal teas provided. The nearest toilet facilities are at Milntown which is a 10 minute walk away. No dogs and not suitable for children under 16.
