Year 7-11 Biodiversity School Session
Your school grounds can be a very interesting starting point to talk about Manx biodiversity and conservation. Book a session with our education officer!
Overview: A school-based session about the biodiversity of our island followed by a trip into your school grounds to complete the ‘How WILD is your land?’ survey and highlight ways to become more wildlife friendly.
Curriculum Link: Explain the benefits of maintaining local and global biodiversity, including the conservation of animal species and the impact of reforestation (Edexcel GCSE Biology 9.10).
Location: At school.
We will provide: An interactive presentation about the biodiversity of our island (including significant habitats and species). Digital or paper access to the ‘How WILD is your land’ survey and Nature Recovery Network map.
