🦗 Join the MWT Invertebrate Group for a fascinating session all about crickets and grasshoppers!

We’re delighted that the session will be kindly led by Dr Richard Selman, Ecosystem Policy Manager at the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture 🌍

👀 About the event
Would you like to confidently identify what you’re hearing and seeing? Here’s a starter tip:

☀️ If you hear them during the day, it’s probably a grasshopper (they’re diurnal).
🌆 If it’s at dusk, it’s most likely a cricket (they’re crepuscular).

🌱 Grasshoppers are mostly herbivorous, so you’ll spot them on grass and other vegetation. Come along to learn what to look (and listen!) for to help you tell them apart.
