About the event

If you’re passionate about protecting our local seals and coastal wildlife, this training is for you! 

We’re looking for volunteers to help monitor seals, especially pups and juveniles, that haul out on our beaches. Your observations help ensure that seals receive the support they need while remaining safe and undisturbed.

📍 Venue: Kirk Braddan Church, Douglas

This session is open to both new volunteers and existing seal sitters who’d like to deepen their understanding of seal behaviour.

We’re delighted to welcome Dan Jarvis from BDMLR, who will be leading the session and sharing expert knowledge about:

• Typical seal behaviour
• How to recognise signs of distress or illness
