Friends of Ballaugh Old Church

When Ballaugh Old Church was closed during the pandemic, a group of local residents came together to protect it. 

The beautiful church is more than 800 years old and is now a growing community hub as well as wildlife haven! The Friends have been working alongside Manx Wildlife Trust to make the churchyard more friendly for nature. As well as this, the church has also been used to hold a number of wildlife themed events.
