About the event

The Isle of Man is home to hundreds of moth species. Some can be seen flying during the day, but most emerge only after dark. From pollinating plants to providing food for bats and other wildlife, moths play a vital role in the Island's ecosystems.

Discover some of our most intriguing species, including the Small Magpie, Double-striped Pug, Garden Tiger and the striking Hummingbird Hawkmoth. This talk offers a wonderful opportunity to learn more about these often-overlooked creatures and the important role they play in nature.

The evening will be led by Ian Scott, the Island's Moth Recorder, who brings over 40 years of experience and expertise to share.
