Celebrating the life of Neil Costa 4 May 1967 - 2 June 2026
Donations to Manx Wildlife Trust (MWT) are warmly welcomed in memory of Neil Costa. Your support will help MWT continue it's valuable work protecting and enhancing the Isle of Man's natural environment and inspiring people to act for nature.
In remembering Neil in this way, you are creating a lasting, positive impact for wildlife and our Island.
A note from Emma-Jane, Neil’s wife
Neil was a wonderful, genuine man who touched the hearts of family, friends and colleagues. He had a perfectly timed dry sense of humour and a quiet way of making people smile.
He kept us grounded with his common sense, practical and no-fuss approach to life. Neil was an Actuary, although I think he would also happily have been an engineer tinkering away on anything with an engine.
He was an enthusiastic motorcyclist, acquiring many project bikes over the years to work on in retirement. We shared a love of motorbike touring holidays, exploring Europe and the USA.
We moved to our forever home a few years ago, a chapel with some land, which Neil loved. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, pottering on our land garden, where his connection to nature truly grew. He took great pleasure in the changing seasons and in watching the wildlife. He was passionate about keeping our land as natural as possible to nurture wildlife.
Even though there is no formal funeral service, please take a moment to reflect on who Neil was, what he meant to you and to celebrate his life.
